Can somebody give me advice of my US$300K cash investment, since I am confused under the following :
(1) Bank interest rate so low as 3% ARY on CD term ( inflation >3%).
(2) Stock market appears declining in the next 16 months.
(3) Real estate seems not at the bottom yet.
(4) Starting Business looks risky in this recession situation.

invest the $ over several real estate properties – use them as rentals – let the tenants pay the mortgage for about 5 yrs – then go in do a light remodel and sell off the properties on contract for deed or flat out -

real estate. rent them out let them pay for themselves then sell when the market is right.

Going with real estate depends on where you live and your willingness to become a landlord. Assuming that isn’t something you want to pursue, I’d go with stocks.

Energy is always a safe bet. With oil prices where they are, you can probably make a tidy sum.
