Update 5/2011 We’ve seen silver head to nearly $50/ounce! Be wise as with all try to buy low. Also keep in mind that other hard assets is just as important! Copper, food, survival gear, etc. As the price of the American dollar falls – all these assets become MORE valuable! It’s an investment. Also – if the American dollar does tank – and our Gov tries to issue new currency … you could (if we lucky) 10 cents on the dollar for your current money including retirement funds! I would strongly urge all to cash out if not all, at least some of the value of thees funds and reinvest the money in “hard Assets” that you can control directly. That goes for stocks, bonds, any thing invested where you hold “paper” on that investment. Now I’m not trying to be a gloom & doomed type … but let’s face the facts. I told many, even my girl friend back when silver was $18! She smiles at me but never even purchased 1 ounce for her self. Fortunately she likes jewelry … so even that can be an investment especially if you check Ebay for some of the sales! All I ask is that you be smart. Protect what you have and find folks that you can count on and that wont stab you in the back. When times do get down to the Almighty nickle – some folks will try to steal. Be aware, and protect yourself and those you love. Even girlfriends that wont listen to your brilliant common sense lol. Be well friends! This is mike in maine. A Prophetic Dream.
