Okay, Spam Central over here...

An angel investor is just someone who'll buy a portion of your business, or lend you money for your business, as well as offer you advice on how to build it as effectively as possible, right?

Some ideas off the top of my head:

1. Family members who've been successful in business
2. Experienced local community leaders (who aren't into the power struggle of youth, and want to give something back)
3. Anyone who seems like they could field-strip a business
4. Anyone who has money and kindness, who didn't inherit the former and isn't afraid to show the latter
5. Anyone who visits a web site you build asking for advice, and actually offers something real

Sometimes a little knowledge is more powerful than a lot of money. I rarely turn away either, when they find me (not often enough, IMO).

Hope that helps.
