What retirement investment companies haven’t had losses in this downsloping economy?

I have a plan with AIG but I have lost too much money and I need to roll over. Who can I roll over into and trust that I won’t lose any additional funds?
If I haven’t lost any money, then why does my quarterly statement show a different dollar value than it did last year this time?

  1. Judy says:

Stick to a company that did not mess with mortgages.
Fidelity investments or Charles Schwab (my favorite).
Be a bit careful with the little discount brokers out there.

You haven’t lost any money. You’ve only lost paper value. You lose money when you sell at a loss.
